ORIGIN OF OUR NAME
The CancerDancer founders, Esther Windmueller and Kyle Nicholas, set up a fundraising and awareness-raising campaign which asked people to upload videos of themselves or friends and relatives dancing and celebrating life. Anyone could cast votes for the videos. Each vote included a donation to CancerDancer. All donations supported
ovarian cancer research. Links to several Cancer Dancer videos:
ORIGIN OF OUR LOGO
A dancing spirit. As part of their early efforts to build this organization, our founders, Esther Windmueller and Kyle Nicholas, brained-stormed during a beach trip. Esther danced on the beach to celebrate her life and prepare for her future with cancer. Someone captured her joy of life and strength of purpose.
